I've mentioned this before, but the "Christian" furry who introduced me to the fandom is now an insufferable leftist. He retweeted that an attack on Richard Spencer was "glorious, heartening news". Not a word about turning the other cheek or praying for your enemies. Also, he's totes gay, and doesn't see any inconsistency between that and Christianity.

At times, I've wanted to become an atheist just so I don't have to spend eternity in Heaven with that butthole.

I've even seen *ahem* "adult" furry artwork of the gay variety where one of the characters is wearing a cross necklace. One guy whose fursona has a cross necklace has a Fur Affinity gallery where 90% of it is NSFW.

Christian furries do exist, but we are vastly outnumbered by CFINO's.

Shamefully, I've commissioned some of that adult artwork in the past, but I took a huge step towards redeeming myself by having the artist I commissioned take it down. I also sent a takedown request to a website with a letter and three digits, where one piece was mirrored without my permission. I want to see my mother in Heaven if at all possible. I think learning how to repent of my sinful furry garbage is a start in that direction.

I first became a furry at the age of 20. I'm lucky I wasn't a minor, I guess, but I was still massively uninformed about how sexual the fandom was. I also expected (falsely) the Christian subset to be a safe haven without any of that.

I had been furry for less than a year when my new best friend in the Christian furry community came out as gay to me, and asked if I was okay with him and his BF (also from that Christian furry community) kissing around me. I said no. He became depressed. I blamed myself for years, and wanted to kill myself for hurting him. I think he now identifies as a female and denounced his faith.
