I won’t force you to accept my beliefs, but it is a good decision to not to.
Yeah exactly
Until marriage
I think it’s a good decision
In my opinion and from what I read the ceremony of marriage is symbolic to God and everyone that you became one flesh. While actually having sex you physically become one flesh.
Builds a level of trust and makes sex far more special
Sex was always intended to be an intimate thing between a husband and a wife.
^
Yeah I’d say sex is very causal now a days
Shouldn’t be
Yep, far too casual
It’s something that’s meant to bond the husband and wife, that’s also why porn is such a big thing.
Seriously though - to all the people who just saw a "Christian" talk about gay people deserving to be shot - every time someone says that, I shake a little out of anger because that's not true. In Israel, they would have, but that's because they had specific rules and were bound by the old Law. They were set apart from all the other nations and were expected to do better. That being said, homosexuality is condemned in the new law too, so no, it does not become permissible in the Bible ever. That being said, I wouldn't be here today if the church was only for perfect people and good Christians should know that they should respect people who have different opinions on the matter.
Over half of the girls in my grade at my school have slept with multiple people. And they're teenagers
Troll or not, it makes me shake
That’s sad
That's so sad
I agree Longshot
That's why I'm not going to get a girlfriend from my school
I felt the same way man
I don’t see homosexuality as a bad thing at all, but if a Christian says it’s a sin and doesn’t actually treat them any differently then I’m fine
Im gratful my gf is loyal
I’m not exactly the straightest, and I’ve been treated very well by my religious friends and family
Godly women are hard to find now a days
Half of my friends are gay. All I care about is if they respect my beliefs
I'd also add that people like that are why you don't ever see homosexuality talked about in church and it sucks because the rest of us who are over here like "wait, how do we deal with this?" are all left buying books in secret from Amazon and talking with our pastors as the entire church sits there with only a basic understanding of the matter
I just dont think its cool for them to tell churches to marry them
Stealing? Check. Sex before marriage? Double check. Gay? Radio silence.
It disappoints me to see faith being painted in such a bad light

@Milkgamer55
Not to sound like an incel, but that’s kinda true ngl
It 100% is
It’s funny cause the progressives claim you guys are backwater or homophobes but honestly you’ve been great
Really gives you perspective
that's actually really nice to hear
My gf sort of is and isn't. She has the morals, but her father led her to hate
Oof
As Christians we are called to love our neighbors that includes homosexual people because we all sin
Mhm
It's literally exhausting to be Christian, Conservative, and someone who struggles with homosexuality all at the same time because no one understands what that's like and you get attacked by extremists on all sides, regardless of your explanation
they see the label that offends them the most first and then they clam up
Yeah, I’m sure it’s rough
