Homosexuality is a sin because it's an attack on the created order, which was made for our benefit. Christians are constantly misinterpreted for their opposition to homosexuality, the biggest misinterpretation is Christians think homosexuality is this special unforgiveable sin. But that's false. The unforgiveable sin is unbelief, not homosexuality. That being said, Christians are commanded to love sacrificially those who even oppose them or disagree with, but always be uncompromising to not waterdown the Gospel.
