Maybe
It talks about it in Isaiah
Oh
It says animals like lions will eat hay with the lambs
Stuff like that
I have to find those verses
Imma search New earth in my Bible app
Might find something
Oh Jeez! It talks about it multiple times!
Lol ya
Which is why I think thats where we go.
Cause is says Jesus is preparing a place for us
Isaiah 65:17, says the former shall not be remembered or come into mind. Do you have an idea on what it means by that.
Cause if it means we'll forget our life on current Earth, I dunno if I want to forget it
The New Heavens and New Earth is a merism to refer to the New Creation. We would still be in Planet Earth as Resurrected Bodies.
It may be better that way
Lest we remember sin
I guess...
But we'd remember something right? Like our Names and that there was an earth before?
Aw okay
Works for me
Some are given a new name
Makes sense
If I am not mistaken
From the revelation passage
I think Isaiah is being hyperbolic and ironic about it. We won't literally be wiped out of our memory of the previous life before the Resurrection. We would basically pay no mind to the past. Much like how some of you had a horrible past but don't make it part of your identity nor pay too much attention. That attitude will be adopted by us in the Eternal State about our current life.
βHe who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it. β β
Revelation 2:17
Oh
Much like how God doesn't look at our past since when jesus paid the price for them
Also one of my favorite verses
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
Sins
It also talks about being able to work and never grow tired which is a dream of mine :(
Well if you think about God exists out of time and he sees our timeline as this one long line.
Everything that will happen, has happened and has yet to happen.
Time is merely an illusion to us Humans.
So all of our talking has happened
Has yet to happen
So when we see Christ the second time and inhabit the New Kingdom, we won't even be thinking about the horrible thinks that happened to us in the past in a worrisome way. We will see it as something insignificant compared to what we will receive. Paul contemplated something similar. The sufferings and pains in this current age will be an insignificant experience compared to what we will receive in the coming age.
And will haplen
*which is why time travel is impossible because its a when not a where*
I gotcha Smash boy
