Why do so many churches in the states seem to emphasize missionary work outside of the USA when there is so much work that needs to be done inside the states?
Because alot of the US is so particular about everything. The media in the US likes to twist everything to their controls and rid Christians for who knows what reason.
The media tries to make it out looking like we, the Christians are the bad person.
Often when we try missionary work in the US, it never ends well.
Like they expect us to be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT
That makes sense, it is something I've wondered about.
Ye
Its just my interpretation from what I've seen
So I could be wrong or correct
As someone whose denomination focuses heavily on missionary work, I can attest that those who are sent to areas in the US have a lot harder of a time and end up having some crazy stories.
I served in Guatemala, and illness was the worst thing to happen to me.
My dad served a mission in Venezuela
What did he say about it?
Venezuela I mean
Sad, our country is in trouble
I couldn’t decide if this would qualify as a conspiracy theory or religion, but it feels less like a conspiracy theory and more like truth.
Well I think we are legitimately in the end times. Or they will come soon. Especially groups like the world economic forum publicly working for a “great reset” I think the concern is more valid than ever. It appears they are trying to establish the New world order. Look up their stuff and it’ll be the same things the “conspiracy theorists” have been saying for years. And well the antichrist will be the person that unites the nations. The WOF also supports several different things that are biblical prophecy. And it’s concerning. Also Donald trump is just controlled opposition. He spoke at a world economic forum event during his presidency, the same organization that supports globalism which is definitely not what trump campaigns on. Am I just being nuts or is there any credence to the theories.
Also it’s said no one knows the time of the end. But doesn’t that just mean the time of the rapture and not the end times in general?
I believe we are nearing the end times, but have not yet entered the 7-year tribulation period. The Anti-Christ will appear at the beginning of the tribulation, being widely loved, and be almost as a "savior" to the world. But then later on in the tribulation, he will declare himself as god or like god, and be in the 3rd temple (that is not yet made, however they're almost all set to start building it). This is when the mark of the beast comes in, where anyone who does not accept the mark and 'worship' it's image, will not be able to buy or sell. Any Christians during this time will likely face death for their faith.
Although, I believe the rapture *(where all those who have died and those still alive in Christ, which are those that are saved, will be taken up into the clouds and Heaven to meet Jesus)* will take place either at the start of the tribulation, or be one of the final blows to the world which allows the Anti-Christ to come onto the world stage and make "peace" from the resulting chaos, therefore starting the 7-year tribulation.
> What did he say about it?
@SomeSouthernGuy he really liked it. The main thing he says about is how the houses there have metal bars as windows and how spiders larger than his hand would crawl in sometimes 😂
Sounds like fun........
Yeah fr 😂 😂
What kind of missionary work did he do over there
He did a lot of service but also went door to door and such.
I heard of a Jewish boy who was dead for 15 minutes and he said met Jesus while he dead. He said he saw the anti-Christ and he said it was Obama
I think I've heard of that as well lol. Sounds familiar
But nah I don't think Obama is.
I don't think we've really seen the antichrist come out of the shadows yet. Because the anti christ is going to be almost widely loved by lots of people globally. So no current world leader is like that atm
Obama isn't THAT evil
though I'm not saying these people AREN'T agents of the antichrist
Soros question mark?
I think the Bible does say that the Antichrist will be a friend of Iran.
Cool
But he will be widely loved by "christians" as let's be honest the 1bil+ Christians aren't going to heaven. It's going to be what is labeled conspiracy theorists and Christian extremists that make it to heaven. Which is the weirdest thing tbh.
Though it's all very concerning, there's just too much at play to know for sure.
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9 NKJV
Believe in your heart. A lot of people confess it, but I don't think that many truly believe it deep down.
I honestly need to study revelations more.
Yea that's the point should have at the next part
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it."
Mathew 13-14
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:10 NKJV
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 14:6 NKJV
Brother Gaines from Bellevue Baptist Church did an extremely long and thorough analysis of revelations. He started it in January of this year and only finished a month or so ago. I'd recommend watching a least several of the sermons to get a good idea about revelations.
They *should* have it on their website
There are many different teachings of revelations
But we are in this weird situation with a great many people believing in Christ and stuff, but outside of church they do not follow his word.
