@Ideal_Way By confession do you mean like talking to a catholic priest? Because it that’s so a priest can’t forgive you for your sins. Maybe you need to pray for god to change your motives and to help you to run away from sin.

But if you asked God to save you from your sins and to come into your heart and you meant it when you prayed with every fiber in your being; then you are saved. Romans 10:9-10 says “that if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, **you will be saved**. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and saved” bottom line is if you confessed it and believe it then you are saved”

Israel became Israel after God gave it to the Israelites. God gave them Palestine (Canaan at the time). Which Israel is a part of Canaan.
