They very much are in the eyes of God

2020-12-19 02:25:06 UTC

I believe that true repentance includes deepened prayer, the sacrament or reconciliation, and promising to move forward on a better path and following through. But if there is no way to reconcile on earth and no purgatory, truly how are we imperfect humans to make it to heaven

2020-12-19 02:25:20 UTC

Removing a human life from this world isnt the same as stealing a toy

2020-12-19 02:25:23 UTC

or candy

2020-12-19 02:25:27 UTC

Jesus himself even said that no sin is greater than any other in the eyes of God

2020-12-19 02:25:28 UTC

Yes

2020-12-19 02:25:39 UTC

By God's grace and his forgiveness

2020-12-19 02:25:57 UTC

We have to die to sin and be reborn with the Holy Spirit to Even be able to follow god

2020-12-19 02:26:08 UTC

where

2020-12-19 02:26:38 UTC

And yet we still sin

2020-12-19 02:26:39 UTC

Anyone can follow God by repenting

2020-12-19 02:27:14 UTC

Exactly! I just think I take repenting more seriously by having a priest help me

2020-12-19 02:27:52 UTC

A priest can guide you but not forgive your sins

2020-12-19 02:28:00 UTC

You can still sin but now you have to option to follow god.

2020-12-19 02:28:10 UTC

do you also think mary is God's mother, like most some catholics?

2020-12-19 02:28:19 UTC

That why we pick up are cross every day

2020-12-19 02:28:30 UTC

A priest has a closer connection to God and can again intercede on my behalf and bless me that I may be forgiven.

2020-12-19 02:28:46 UTC

When it comes to forgivness, all sin is the same in God's eyes. Matthew 12:31-32 "Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."

2020-12-19 02:28:48 UTC

Mary is Jesus’ physical mother

2020-12-19 02:29:00 UTC

Wrong you can have a better connection to God more than a priest

2020-12-19 02:29:39 UTC

how do they?

2020-12-19 02:29:41 UTC

I still struggle to strengthen my relationship with Jesus sometimes

2020-12-19 02:30:17 UTC

i know, im asking if froshe does

2020-12-19 02:30:18 UTC

Because they have dedicated their life to service and undergone the sacrament of holy orders.

2020-12-19 02:30:35 UTC

if you have stopped at dedicate their lfie.. I may agree

2020-12-19 02:30:36 UTC

Many battles, many losses, few victories

2020-12-19 02:30:43 UTC

but then you went on to holy orders

2020-12-19 02:30:55 UTC

but anyone can dedicate their life to god

2020-12-19 02:31:13 UTC

Mary is the mother of Jesus who was both God and man. God exists both before and after Mary

2020-12-19 02:31:28 UTC

While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.” But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
Matthew 12:46‭-‬50

2020-12-19 02:31:38 UTC

mary also right? did she exist before ?

2020-12-19 02:32:06 UTC

catholics teach that without mary- there owuld be NO jesus lol

2020-12-19 02:32:30 UTC

Ok m not sure that’s entirely accurate

2020-12-19 02:32:40 UTC

Jesus used Mary it didn’t need to be Mary in particular

2020-12-19 02:34:42 UTC

Pope Francis, You would not have Jesus without Mary, so why do you want to have Jesus without Mary?”

2020-12-19 02:34:43 UTC

But it was her on purpose. Just like god has a plan for all of us he had a plan for Mary long before she was a part of our world

2020-12-19 02:35:53 UTC

The fact is you wouldn’t have Jesus without Mary. I agree that it didn’t have to be her, but it was her and God had that plan long before she was born

2020-12-19 02:36:18 UTC

In a way then it did have to be her. Because that was always gods plan

2020-12-19 02:36:29 UTC

God chose her

2020-12-19 02:36:43 UTC

He made her to be the mother of his only begotten son

2020-12-19 02:36:44 UTC

You would still have Jesus without Mary. God could have chosen anyone. But he chose Mary. The person who gives birth to Jesus does not matter.
