they have schools for pastors now, not "chosen by god" pastors. and still, churches had always been politicized. everybody seems to invoke the bible to defend their stance. idk about misinformed, but certainly there are no one "true" way of thinking and perceiving god

Same, and on Christmas Eve I don't think any sort of precautions matter to us since Christmas is a reminder that God is with us and we can put our faith in Him. For some of the older folks we take a little precaution, but even they don't care about being sick
