The person I’m arguing against is actually Christian tho and is using the Bible to tell me God never said we have this right

Well explain to this person that if they were a muslim the state could enforce christianity on them or that if they were a Christian the state could enforce Atheism on them, the state should stay secular to assure equality for everyone
