We recently got hit by Hurricane Laura and this has been our meals for the last few days. Flounder, steak, and chicken lol. My mom and sisters and nana were gone, so it was just me, my dad, my uncle, and my grandfather. Other than no power for almost a week, life has been great haha. It does kinda look gross from the pics, but it was great, at least I thought so.

I ate all the chicken before I could get any pics lol. We cooked with propane on a black Stone griddle and a grill.

I made a stuffed flounder. It had grilled Boudain in it

If you were hit by the hurricane I guess you used frozen meat?

Yep. We have 3 generators and like 100 gallons of gas lol. Powered a/c units and freezers

And wells to defrost meat in water.

Southern Sweet Tea:
Boil 2qt water to rolling boil
Turn off burner and add 6 teabags (4 family size) without tags and staples
Steep for 15min
Pour into 1 gallon jug
Add 3/2c sugar
Add 2tbsp lemon juice
Stir in cold water to fill 1 gal jug
Chill and serve
