M21 is rebuilt internally, now it just needs a Hurst shifter. Should be a stout little 4 speed that with silky smooth, but well-defined shifts once its built

1969 corvette coupe

2020-08-24 01:46:13 UTC

BROOOOOOOOOOOOO THATS A NICE VETTE

2020-08-24 01:47:13 UTC

Much appreciated. Even in this decrepit state, people seem to love it

2020-08-24 01:48:22 UTC

End goal is something like this, albeit with different wheels

2020-08-24 01:49:51 UTC

Those wheels kinda dull

2020-08-24 01:49:59 UTC

What color you want it in in the end stage?

2020-08-24 01:50:26 UTC

I want to do 1970 Laguna grey, and a more traditional style Torq Thrust VN409 type of mag wheel

2020-08-24 01:50:39 UTC

oooooo

2020-08-24 01:50:45 UTC

Kinda sexy tho 😳

2020-08-24 01:50:47 UTC

15x10 offset so I can run a 295/50/15 on all four

2020-08-24 01:51:07 UTC

Fat fuckers on all four wheels

2020-08-24 01:51:10 UTC

XD

2020-08-24 01:51:20 UTC

*Nyoooooom* Go the wheels

2020-08-24 01:51:56 UTC

This thing isn't geared for fast acceleration off the line but with the M21 in it, should be able to get into the 50 mph range in first gear

2020-08-24 01:52:36 UTC

Seems kinda smooth for "such an old and outdated car for todays standards. You should get a Porche 911 if you weant 'old'."

2020-08-24 01:52:48 UTC

Sorry i had to quote the retards out there smh

2020-08-24 01:52:51 UTC

Lol

2020-08-24 01:53:08 UTC

I get that a lot, so I find humor in it

2020-08-24 01:53:38 UTC

I'm kinda old school, I want something as simplistic and mechanical as possible, but I also like to be able to actually get parts for it

2020-08-24 01:53:52 UTC

Only thing exotic in this thing is the ignition system

2020-08-24 01:54:45 UTC

Speaking of, anyone know what kind this is?

2020-08-24 01:54:59 UTC

Looks like a Chevy but thats ll i can get out of it XD

2020-08-24 01:55:20 UTC

That's late 40s/ early 50s styling for sure

2020-08-24 01:55:57 UTC

Has that post-war curvature, starting to get into the jet age style

2020-08-24 01:56:03 UTC

My grandfather would know from the trim smh

2020-08-24 01:56:22 UTC

It's a pretty one, for sure

2020-08-24 01:57:17 UTC

^

2020-08-24 01:57:19 UTC

You guys know that when the small block chevy first came out in 1955, it didn't have an oil filter boss cast into the block?

2020-08-24 01:57:25 UTC

Love that color and how well its been kept

2020-08-24 01:57:33 UTC

Wait what?

2020-08-24 01:57:35 UTC

H o w?

2020-08-24 01:57:43 UTC

They just didn't cast one in lol

2020-08-24 01:57:47 UTC

Was optional

2020-08-24 01:57:50 UTC

Interesting

2020-08-24 01:57:58 UTC

Then in '56 they added one

2020-08-24 03:25:01 UTC
