The thing I hate most is how much crap they put in new trucks

Theyre moving away from pushrods and doing overhead double-cams and trying to be honda

Some mid 2000s is good you just have to know what your looking for

Meanwhile Nissan is still taking on the CVT in whatever car they please strategy

Anything with the 3.8L V6 is golden

Anything marked Vortec or LS is good

I have a monte carlo SS with 200k miles on a 3.8L V6 and runs like a clock

My pickup with the 4.3L V6 Vortec has 260k miles and still runs good @SmokyCopCar

But every new car from either brand, whether it’s from America, Japan, Korea, or Europe are all crap nowadays. If it’s an older cars, they were much better in quality and reliability.
