Mid 2000s was not great for GM either
Theyre moving away from pushrods and doing overhead double-cams and trying to be honda
Some mid 2000s is good you just have to know what your looking for
Meanwhile Nissan is still taking on the CVT in whatever car they please strategy
Anything with the 3.8L V6 is golden
Anything marked Vortec or LS is good
Cant kill em
I have a monte carlo SS with 200k miles on a 3.8L V6 and runs like a clock
My pickup with the 4.3L V6 Vortec has 260k miles and still runs good @SmokyCopCar
That’s nice. LS tends to be good I know but not familiar with vortec
Vortec is just iron-block LS
Ohh ok
LS is basicly fuel injected and all roller assembly
Roller rockers, lifters, cam ect

American is good but Japan is best
But every new car from either brand, whether it’s from America, Japan, Korea, or Europe are all crap nowadays. If it’s an older cars, they were much better in quality and reliability.

@CDA SKIER Please stop sending images of planes here. First, this is the cars & automotive channel, not the aerospace channel. Second, what you are doing is spam.
Fine, is it okay is I do it on aerospace?
No. It was spam.
What if I ask the areo space people?
Is that okay?
Do not spam images there.
Okay, what if I do 3 images.
Of different aircraft.
if only muscle cars were lighter
I had a 1995 530i years ago, really beat up, but a fun car to drive
Well, they wouldn't be very "muscle-y" if they were.
I always like to think that muscle cars are very American, great for high speed on long stretches of straight road (like we have) whereas foreign sports cars are better for handling, since they don't have too many open stretches of straight roads, more curves and twists.
@Alpha-57 we have canyons
True, but we have a lot more open stretches of straight roads. Plus, we're really into drag races.
“This is a corner. This is where the true challenge of a automotive race takes place. Except for American cars. When they see a corner they go into reverse because they simply can’t turn around.”
