America!
The original Avenger
America's Ass
@Dr Badass PhD That is America's ass
hard to read that
panel is actually huge in original size
still i admit, it's the font that is wait too tight and slim
I started doing my ships based on my writing. The first ones were just sketches to help me visualize certain scenes.
yeah that really helps with the creative process usually
When I started running RPGs, they turned into deckplans, and have been snowballing since.
yeah and you can get really into it and it becomes a big thing
all in all, it helps with situating yourself with visual, it also is kinda fun to design stuff as you imagined
Yep. And people are generally more visually-oriented.
aye
Working up a new stock ship is relaxing; modding one out from there is more fun.
A scientific space ship would be incredibly hard to launch in that shape, a modular design like the ISS is the only way space stations can be launched to space
Really cool design though, are those heat sheild tiles?
i sure hope they are
it looks very in depth with layered blueprints
Is it for reentry?
The beauty of space is you can have really fragile designs because it's a vacume
oh it checks out very much, mate
as a fan of detailing myself, I can appreciate the work on this mecha
nice use of only back and white
The universe my ships are in has gravity control. It's a side effect of the FTl drives. The older ships I create are closer to current tech; the newer ones get further away as the tech advances.
The stock version of those is from 2286 up.
the black and whites are often more cool than the colored fully shaded ones
They're cleaner at times, and you can fill in the colors mentally.
Okay, this is my oldest regular tech ship from my universe. Circa 2122.
I like the eclectic designs
Thanks. They reflect the changing tech over the centuries.
