as a fan of detailing myself, I can appreciate the work on this mecha
nice use of only back and white
The universe my ships are in has gravity control. It's a side effect of the FTl drives. The older ships I create are closer to current tech; the newer ones get further away as the tech advances.
The stock version of those is from 2286 up.
the black and whites are often more cool than the colored fully shaded ones
They're cleaner at times, and you can fill in the colors mentally.
Okay, this is my oldest regular tech ship from my universe. Circa 2122.
I like the eclectic designs
Thanks. They reflect the changing tech over the centuries.
you really thought it through, you have living space and crew commodities thought of
specs are a cut above the generic plans
This is designed to be a scoopship, gathering and compressing gases from the Jovian planets for use in the solar system. No gravity, no landing gear, no FTL.
ye ye i can see that happenin'
made to just wander and gather
The circles underneath are globular storage tanks.
ye ye it's well thought of, mate
Thank you.
it's well layed out
In my main universe, WW III hits in 2069. Earth rebuilds, then runs into hostile aliens in 2143.
We learn from their tech, and that's where humanity *really* starts expanding.
69
meme year
"where were you when the big war of 2069 started?" - old veteran
LOL I was just shooting for a mid-range year. I started writing this stuff in the 80's.
it happened and it's a cool number
before all the meme, 69 was a good year
2143
it's just far enough to be credible
I have the universe timeline plotted out into the 2800's.
d-damn...
I've had a *lot* of time to work on this.
And it's one of many universes I've created.
I don't use the term worlds, because a lot of them have multiple worlds in them, and the terminology gets confusing.
That’s nice! I like the perspective of the papers
Hmm yes very effective glasses
