I assume this can go here. Little 3D modeling project I’m working on. C:
Nice, good old fashioned train
Yeah, it’s straight outa 1880/1
It’s been a month or two coming, but I’m finally in the home stretch. Normally I do stuff from the 1930’s-50’s, so it’s been new and interesting doing something this antiquated. ^^
Love the 3d animation @Thomas4peyton
3D modeling, no animations yet. You went on the Rotary charter? XD
*I see, a fellow 3’ gauge nut*
Yes. I love the cumbres and toltec rr
Ah, well my model is a D&RG Class 70
I didn't think I'd find a fellow train lover on here.
(C-19’s Before they were C-19’s)
There's plenty
That's good.
Most of us have hobbies
Have a half assed OM to celebrate!
I love photography and videography of steam engines.
Omg!!! I love that!!
Speaking of the Durango train, I used to work for them and I have a lot of good photos of some of their operations.
One of my more recent models that actually made it to completion
(True art, ngl)
Looks amazing.
I'm a little green with envy that you can draw steam engines. I only get to foam on the side or try to catch them in action.
It’s not really drawing, it’s 3D modeling
XD
Still amazing.
@Mauler you do model trains or something?
Yeah a little bit
Oh?
I'm hoping to get back into it when in older
It’s expensive stuff, lol
Yeah.
Especially if you're in the 7.5" scale.
I feel as if this is getting pretty off topic for <#724090670721269790>, but im not sure where else to take it. 🤔
I have to many hobbies
I think there's art in model railroading. Especially when you realize that model railroading and building small steam engines from scratch is very much art and lost one at that.
That's what I want to capture more of. Videos and photos of the amazingness of steam engines.
