U have a pet squirrel?
im not a big fan of squirrels, they're funny and cute i guess, but it kind of takes away their charm when they eat a bucket of bird seed that costs 20$ in a few days that **should** have lasted a month.
i get how people find them funny, and i do too sometimes, but for me, the bad things outweigh the good.
our bird seed costs under 20
like I never get alot
an no pet squirrels
they're wild
yeah, i get that. i save up seed that's about 8$ and spread it out over a length of time, but the squirrels will eat three cups of seed in one day when it would take three days for the birds.
i've tried baffles and stuff, but they never work for long, they just find another way to the seed.
i do enjoy watching squirrels, but i would just perfer for them to leave my bird feeder alone.
i may have exaggerated a bit up there, but it's frustrating.
I've learned to accept them
they're part of nature too, not just the birds
plus I'm fussy about the seed I get
and I've used hot pepper
which works for a few days
they dislike it
i've heard of that trick, with varying degrees of success, ive never tried it, but maybe i will.
