We've got a mars mission happening!
Wish me luck boys
Gonna fly with ryanair today
In for some hard landings
Ksp is great, learned so much from it, funny that people actually use it for accurate demonstrations
Anyway super cool to see, one of my professors worked on the moxie system for the mission
awesome
ive been following the progress but i had no idea they were launching it today
Love that Gripen
Yeah
If I could have an air force (fighter section), it'd consist of Gripens, Rafales, F-35s, and at least one other aircraft. I'll have to think about the 4th type.
@Yukon they have parachutes on theirs....
Just watched that. Thanks for sharing.
@Dr Badass PhD I would have Rafale, FA-50, Su-57 and Su-35

@Tsar Vladimir Putin Those are some fine choices as well my comrade.
Indeed
@[TDE] Smokie yes, sadly I doubt I can fit even tiny chutes into mine cause the fairings must have enough space for some tiny payload too
What do yout fairings look like rn?
This v1 and it's tiny. Penny for scale
I can fit a 2 and a half inch by 3 inch cylinder
My goal is to be able to fit a cansat (one soda can)
So for the version with a recovery system, I'm thinking of going wider like a Space X fairing. These were based off the electron fairings
I can draw up a diagram in CAD today and post if here later to give you a better idea
Can you make it slightly bulbous like the blue origin rockets?
And it wouldn't need a big parachute... just something to keep it from hitting the ground so hard that it breaks.
Blue origin rockets look like a thing that you would use in the bedroom
Oh no
Ya I'm not a the biggest fan of BO lol
^okay I just did a quick draw up via CAD to give a better Idea.

@Tsar Vladimir Putin what the fuck is an FA 50
This may help
Oh South Korea
I know that one
Asian planes besides China all have a certain look since the past 30 years
