Do you consider possible (but very unlikely) that, in order to stop a mid-way launched nuclear warhead in the upper atmosphere in some hypothetical scenario where it's fired on a nation that does not posses the antiballistic missile defence system to intercept it (or does not have it operational in time), would try a desperate attempt by ordering individual pilots in "futuristic" planes, inspired by the Blackbird, equipped with high quality tracking and trajectory devices, to attempt to crash directly into the traveling warhead with the goal to disrupt its trajectory enough to send it diving down into the ocean?
Maybe not actually crash into them, however I have heard about the development of directed energy weapons. And since dews likely will have limitless ammunition, and very long range, that would probably be the best option to destroy an ICBM. Crashing into them is possible but it would be pretty damn hard to even for an exceptional pilot.
An aircraft similar to the Blackbird, either nowadays or in the near future, probably won't even be manned.
Hmm this does sound like a good story I might read
Ok thanks for responding in all transparency, really does help me to constuct the situation of thoses events in the story with a more realistic approach, cheers ✌️
@Pie Well the big story in itself isn't all centered around that, but it is a big event in the story, like I said, it's a childhood story/adventure novel, and the whole point of the whole series is to take a "random children", which reprents pretty much the reader, and take the personal story of thoses kids closer and closer to the bigger picture, tho, for now it's only written in French and it's only in the making, haven't found no editor yet, so sadly for me I don't think you can lol
Alright
But I do think it's the kind of art our youth miss today, this kind of childhoods adventures and coming to age story who almost seems real, with the characters growing up as the readers do and experiencing everything that makes life promising and the responsabilities and burden that goes with it, thoses things which become generational, last I can think of is Harry Potter, so no worries, no SJW stuff in there <:KEK:726877368601411624>
Anyway, thanks, moving on ✌️
👍
Well done as usual
These pictures are from the USAF museum in Dayton Ohio from when went last year. Sorry about the bad pictures these were taken on my old Motorola e5 cruise that didn't have a good camera and also didn't have a ultrawide camera.
These aren't bad by any means
The first air force one you see is the one that JFK's casket was flown in and where Lyndon b Johnson was inaugurated.
The one after he f22
That's nuts
The independence is Truman's air force one
And the gray one was Roosevelt's
So is the B-2 a real one or is it a full scale model?
Every plane is real
They are all real planes
That's soooo coool
I had a bunch of other pictures but they were on my old sd card which snapped and some reason didn't upload to Google photo
I have to go there someday
It's cool they probably have more planes now we went like a year or two ago
When we went they had like 300. It takes two days to go through if you read every plaque and stuff. We also went to the one in Florida but I don't really remember it cause that was like 5 years ago I was like 8.
I absolutely love this kind of thing. Thank you for sharing!
Yo nice pics bro!
