I saw so many people asking why not just use solar cells from hobby stores

2020-11-21 00:27:54 UTC

Lol the sun would fry those in space

2020-11-21 00:28:46 UTC

I want to send my own cubesat so bad

2020-11-21 00:28:49 UTC

2020-11-21 00:28:53 UTC

😳

2020-11-21 00:29:16 UTC

well I mean universities sometimes do cubesats

2020-11-21 00:29:46 UTC

Yup and they do some really cool stuff

2020-11-21 00:29:48 UTC

iirc the uni one of my sisters attends made an instrument that went up on the Parker Solar Probe

2020-11-21 00:30:04 UTC

Dang that's so freaking sick!

2020-11-21 00:30:09 UTC

2020-11-21 00:30:11 UTC

2020-11-21 00:30:35 UTC

Although I'm considering not going to uni cus fuck debt

2020-11-21 00:30:36 UTC

I tried working with a team. Progress kinda frustrating

2020-11-21 00:30:55 UTC

trade school more like based school

2020-11-21 00:31:20 UTC

Why not consider uni? If you study hard you can aim for scholarship

2020-11-21 00:31:39 UTC

perhaps

2020-11-21 00:31:45 UTC

I already get free college so

2020-11-21 00:31:49 UTC

2020-11-21 00:31:57 UTC

Then why not go to Uni

2020-11-21 00:31:59 UTC

Plus

2020-11-21 00:32:09 UTC

Space industry is growing like crazy

2020-11-21 00:32:16 UTC

Aerospace is a hot feild

2020-11-21 00:32:37 UTC

I would chase after it ASAP

2020-11-21 00:32:49 UTC

It's like historical opportunity

2020-11-21 00:33:04 UTC

It's just mind blowing to be able to study and work on hardware

2020-11-21 00:33:17 UTC

That'll go to space and be more and more accessible

2020-11-21 00:44:06 UTC

Go for aerospace. I wanted to, but I’m not good with math and physics.

2020-11-21 00:59:34 UTC

I was doing a time lapse of the cassiopeia region last night, and a plane flew by. The line with dots next to it at the bottom third is where the plane few by.

2020-11-21 01:08:25 UTC

@Yukon

I agree with you. With the private sector finally allowed to unleash, I would not be surprised if we have a mission to Mars in the next 10-15 years. Space tourism is really no more than a decade away assuming no regulatory issues.

2020-11-21 03:50:11 UTC

If the Democrats don't get in the way, I really see it happening. They would probably demand that the space agencies hire "diversely" and drive their prestige into the ground. Or those businesses would pack up and go to other nations, turning the US into another starving authoritarian state.
