One of the most legendary air battles in history
The battle of Y29
This particular image illustrates the moment when a Mustang ace brought down a Fw-190 as he was bringing up his landing gear.
These mustangs belonged to the 352nd fighter group "The Blue nosed bastards of Bodney."
The 190 can be seen belching smoke from its belly.
@SmokyCopCar a little info about that picture
I appreciate that, was curious what battle that was. Thank you. Also love P51s
Yeah, I do
ooh that looks awesome. what a great shot
I think that's a simulation of some kind. Unless that actually is a real shot.
Agreed, though there is some grain and softness especially on top of the tail, so it may be real
@Dr Badass PhD
If you were referring to my shot, it is a real shot
Ah ok ๐
Got this CC-150 on the same day
very nice๐
Thx
Nice sticker add on in this KC-135R
I went inside one in 2019.
I think I walked through a C17 at MCAS Miramar a few years ago
Maybe a C-5. A C-17 is a little cramped on the inside. I don't doubt that though.
Then again there were a lot of people inside the 17 so I mean.
Last when I went inside one.
I don't really remember it, I didn't care about planes then
Ah
A wingletless delta 757 with the Joseph E Lowery decal arrives the msp
Beautiful shot!
I've seen a Venom once before
Thank you!
The venom was awesome! They were there for fuel
It was flying with an AH-1Z Viper
@Ideal_Way
Nice catch
Thanks!
Yay
