Keep in mind, in California, if you get accused of a sex offense, you're automatically on there for life whether you're guilty or not. I can accuse you of a sex crime and file the report and you'll be on there offender list forever.

The SB-145 bill just makes it that a judge must place you into the sex offender list themselves. Not an automatic thing just because a police report. But for real, how much will that judge get paid off?

There's the pros and cons to SB-145.

Without SB-145, you can't just get away with a sex offense and it go unnoted by a judge. The latter, some thot (which I hear about ALL the time in Cali) can't just accuse you of rape and then ruin your life because an argument you two had.

If this is your argument my question to you sir is why doesn't the legislation sound like what your talking about instead of some strange age amount of a ten year difference, it could simply state registration at Judge digression or something. Seems kinda odd to me in there choice of wording in section 290 of SB-145

@Quwaglloyd I saw the bill and it was amended many times. I discussed this before. I need to go back through it to make sure the part of 10 years is still in there, but last I looked it was taken out. But the bill also was amended to have what I'm calling a Susan B Anthony effect to include all persons to be placed into the sex offender registry.
