I'm south German. 2000 years ago my people were enslaved by Romans. We even use "Servus" as a greeting today which means "I serve you"... Where are my reparations, Italians!? 😠 xD

It's nothing new

events that happened prior to ur lifetime then yes, reparations are stupid ...but events that happened in ur lifetime..then it's worthy of discussion and action

But nowadays we don't have a reason to do it

Because none of us have experienced that oppression

i pretty much think irs reparations are in order for those of us forced to pay oppressive taxes we didn't vote for

When the jews were given israel it made sense because the jews experienced the holocaust

i thought they bought it originally

It would make less sense if per say we gave israel to the jews 150 years after ww2

Because none of the jew alive during that time experienced what happened

Also if I'm correct slaves were given reparations after the civil war

They were given land and mule I think

So why are we giving them money now

Money can't buy you happiness
