Let me chime in, I was a Tom Boy in my teen years, my current coworker claims the same, are we dudes now? NO
I don't believe it should be difficult to understand why children should not be able to make those decisions.
Don't forget, a **Harvard student** got into some hot water after threatening to *stab* people.

@米饭和面条 Please, never have kids. Thanks.
Personally I don't think children should augment their bodies at all with the exception of cosmetic surgery like skin grafting after an accident (ie fires, car accident, etc). We have an age of consent because we know that kids don't have the mental capacity to understand their actions. If people want to augment their bodies then they can do whatever when they're adults.

@SubtleSara What?
If you have to ask what.... seriously...
Oh sorry, I just don't want children to be going through fucking gender reassignment surgery.
Once again, this is why I didn't have kids 20 years ago til now
not what anyone said but okay.
Ya know, when I was a kid I wanted to be an astronamer(astronomer? astronemer? I dunno), now I know I definitely don't want that, imagine I wanted to be a girl, went through all the processes, then changed my mind, one is more serious than the other
OK lemme backup, NONE of us want to let children go under the knife to become ANOTHER GENDER
It's astronomer.
Thank you
np
Am gonna go. Thought I found an adult channel, alas, my bad.

@SubtleSara We are all inclusive here
Take the opportunity to teach non-adults how to internet 😂
Avoid twitter and tik tok?
These people are unhinged
I am not sure if this is the right chat, but my writing course, academic writing course, is making us read a long passage on the case for reparations and today we're listening to the radio talk show with the author and people calling in to discuss the argument.
It's not writing....it has nothing to do with academic writing....it's a radio talk show about reparations and systemic racism
Well, it's about the left being crazy like usual, so it might as well be the right channel.
yeah that's what i thought, because i've never had a class so focused on activist type thinking while continually saying "you don't have to agree" it's just writing.
this is what we're listening to in my /academic writing/ course
i don't understand what they mean by "moral debt", we can pay the "debt" simply by making blacks have the same requirements as whites.
affirmative action and other things like that won't pay whatever debt they're talking about.
i guess the argument i gather is that they don't want equality under law. moral equality is not a thing and will never be a thing, morals are subjective.
