One of my most prominent memories of her class was how to give a proper handshake

Firm grip, make eye contact, and smile

Aside from getting that I was not going to be heard

Cursive was the lasting thing I learned

I never learned how to write in cursive or type properly

I just winged how to type

Like general conversation

I can only type with two fingers 😅

It's not efficient but eventually I'll learn how to type properly

Muscle memory has dictated that I can roughly type everything alright

Sometimes in a leisurely manner, others in a blazing fast manner

I bet one day they're going to get rid of the pledge of allegiance altogether in a majority of the public school system.

Because it's offensive and racist and yadda yadda.

The school system right now is so broken it's honestly funny.

I'm one of the few people who actually stand and say it

I didn't reliably stand until Trump was in office

I never truly appreciated how lucky I am to be an American until I started learning what Trump was doing for the US

I don't mean funny as in the laugh at it kind of funny. I mean it as in it's so bad it's funny kind of thing.

Lately I've gained a lot of respect for Trump

who is definitely the opposite of american soul's 4th grade teacher

The more I learn about the powers sabotaging Trump, the greater respect I have

she was a diehard liberal and i could tell even as a 5th grader
and apparently she was in some protest against the keystone pipeline in NYC

It fits with the sociology department being hyper liberal

My 4th grade teacher ended up being a social studies teacher

Not suprising 🙄

Some are borderline commies speaking from experience 🤪
