Less nazi and more authoritarian. I get that they are very similar, but being a nazi and believing in ultimate control of the government and the stamping out of other ideologies are quite different

2020-11-24 19:26:30 UTC

To be clear, I agree that it's bad

2020-11-24 19:26:34 UTC

Okay bro, educate me then. I say Antifa is fascist. If your only argument is that they claim to be anti fascist, that doesn’t look too good for ya.

2020-11-24 19:26:58 UTC

But let's not stoop to the level of these people who just slap a label on people's beliefs to discredit them

2020-11-24 19:26:59 UTC

Hahaha, they are neo-socialist

2020-11-24 19:27:24 UTC

Get out of here with your regurgitation of meme culture.

2020-11-24 19:27:31 UTC

Inform or stfu

2020-11-24 19:27:58 UTC

They are even close to Marxist

2020-11-24 19:28:10 UTC

But in a radical approach.

2020-11-24 19:28:15 UTC

Hence neo

2020-11-24 19:28:24 UTC

Nice ad hominem. You must be so proud of your debating skills.

2020-11-24 19:28:31 UTC

I don’t want cultural or social Marxism, but I’m fine with economic Marxism as long as it works. No system is perfect.

2020-11-24 19:28:55 UTC

Capitalism is still the better system for now, though. But we’ll see.

2020-11-24 19:28:59 UTC

Not so sure that it does, though. Or that it's really a fair system

2020-11-24 19:30:13 UTC

> Nice ad hominem. You must be so proud of your debating skills.
@𝓓. 𝓢.

Your on fire.
Claims personal attacks.
Rebuttal is a personal attack.
👏

2020-11-24 19:30:20 UTC

If it means we get to overthrow our shadow dictators like Klaus Schwab or George Soros, then sure.

2020-11-24 19:30:46 UTC

And Seance, attack the idea, not the person.

2020-11-24 19:30:59 UTC

I mean, advocating for a reduced power government and for economic marxism are not the same thing

2020-11-24 19:31:17 UTC

I'm all for that.
Hence 90% of my comments are ideological debate based.

2020-11-24 19:31:42 UTC

Does cherry get that same comment?

2020-11-24 19:31:51 UTC

😏

2020-11-24 19:32:48 UTC

Since I grew up in Germany, I’m reminded of the Kristallnacht whenever I think of Antifa. Whatever you want to call them, they’re a violent terrorist group that obviously hasn’t read enough about history.

Although, perhaps they have read a little too much history. As President Reagan once said, our liberal friends aren’t stupid. They just know so much that isn’t so.

2020-11-24 19:33:33 UTC

Liberals aren’t stupid for sure. They are playing the stupid game only

2020-11-24 19:33:50 UTC

They are pretending to be stupid while really being absolute genius evildoers

2020-11-24 19:34:04 UTC

I guess so.

2020-11-24 19:34:19 UTC

There is the original antifa, maybe circa 2019 then is there is the coopted antifa.
It has been perverse media manipulation recently.

2020-11-24 19:34:41 UTC

If *you* think your side has seen media manipulation, then welcome to the club

2020-11-24 19:34:41 UTC

Perhaps yes, perhaps no.

2020-11-24 19:34:43 UTC

Although, when I used to be a liberal, I really thought I was fighting for the right cause. I wasn’t really trying to be evil.

2020-11-24 19:35:10 UTC

Don’t worry, I’m not talking about liberal people, I’m talking about liberal politicians and leaders

2020-11-24 19:35:21 UTC

Liberal people want the best from others I am certain

2020-11-24 19:36:15 UTC

It's kind of interesting how far we have come from classical 60s-style liberalism to the dumpster fire we have today - and arguably around the late 60s with the radical feminists

2020-11-24 19:36:35 UTC

Yeah that liberalism was way better

2020-11-24 19:36:42 UTC

Modern liberalism is just... no thank you!

2020-11-24 19:36:44 UTC

I still stand by what I said earlier. If you join a violent terrorist organization, you forfeit your life. That’s just my point of view. Those kids may just be misinformed, but isn’t every terrorist misinformed?

2020-11-24 19:37:21 UTC

Arguably, a lot of modern liberalism isn't even liberalism by the standards of people in the 60s - evident by the fact that the ideology of MLK himself is now considered right-wing by the neo-liberals

2020-11-24 19:38:15 UTC

I would argue you forfeit your life when you show that you are willing to take others' lives away because of what they believe in.

All is fair in love and war. If you go out and get violent, you cannot complain when people fight back. Attacking unprovoked is a whole other story

2020-11-24 19:38:51 UTC

Wait what? How is it right-wing to believe in treating people by their content rather than by their skin?

2020-11-24 19:38:54 UTC

What the hell?

2020-11-24 19:39:25 UTC

Most political compass tests place it that way, yeah. Kind of sad really. But, when you consider intersectionality and affirmative action, it kind of makes sense

2020-11-24 19:39:33 UTC

I tend to side with cornel west on the spectrum of political ideologies plaguing america atm, and his breakdown of the situation on the streets atm.
In a world of constructed images, meaning and depth holds little weight anymore.
Meme culture prevails.
