One thing to know: the decision to tell your parents or not is completely up to you, and if you're old enough there's nothing they can do to stop you legally. However, I can guarantee your mom will try the usual manipulative bullshit, so hide anything valuable to you (collectibles, projects, etc.) because she will try to fucking hide them or take them away like you're a fucking 12 year old.
