They aren't doing their freaking jobs by hiding. So much for essential workers. At my school, anyone with and IEP has to go to school and get one to one help everyday to make sure they stay on track

Yeah, my school has a really good ULTIMA and SPED program. Even if you aren't in these programs, they will help and assist you if you have severe adhd or social anxiety. But other than that they are just woke.

The only class I do well is welding and that’s because when you can only see one thing it’s hard not to focus on it when your whole thing is focusing on random shit randomly that’ll bite your ass 20 seconds later

Yeah, wish these programs were available in more schools. It's a really inclusive system, since some schools will not intermingle the SPED students as often as we do, which is kinda messed up. Also I'm taking welding next year

Book work is very rare in welding

You just get on the welder and can only see one thing and that’s why I like it so much. My ADHD has minimal effect in welding class

My sister took jewelry and decided to take welding too, and honestly, they seem to not be that different. Also it's much more engaging to do hands on work

Really? My school is about that saftey shit. They wouldn’t give you a torch unless you have saftey glasses, boots, a welding jacket, jeans, 100% cotton shirt, and a 2 piece suit for book work

I made that last one up but it captures how much we have to dress up for the class despite it not really being dressing up

I mean in a full shop with a ton of adults and kids in there, they let a dude weld in the corner with no ventilation and no real visual blockage
