I wont mention his criminal past much since he seemed like he changed. He did resist arrest and was on drugs
right
but even so, that deserves advocacy for better training
so police can effectively handle mental health or drug issues
Dont get me started on Jacob blake
I think they could have did it better for sure. also brings up the Wallace junior case from PA
it's hard to know what to change about them since it's usually an individual not police in general
I do believe that justice system isn’t perfect. It’s far from it. However, I personally believe that the good outweighs the bad. Doesn’t eliminate the fact that they should reform the police to be better educated.
Despite my disapproval towards liberal, I have to agree on that part. I have standards and common sense, and their statement about reforming the cops is something I can get behind.
But ,as of right now, i am quite torn between reforming criminals or police primarily.
In addition, I hope people also focus on police brutality against other races other than blacks because that also happens, which is something most BLM supporters tends to ignore.
Just putting my cards on the table.
Not just that, Floyd was high as the sky on drugs, that was the main cause of death, not the knee on the neck.
He still didnt ded a knee on the neck but he was high as hell and people forget that is also a reason to be arrested
He was attempting to use counterfeit money
The knee on his neck only exacerbated his condition from fentanyl
Not too sure if that's the case
Such a role model citizen amirite
Also wasn’t he in the driver seat before he was pulled out by police?
But the big question is...
People say that floyd wouldn't have died if he was white... bs since the officer had 18 complaints and I doubt they were all black people
Why didn’t the media show the real footage?
Oh right
To fit their agenda and to blame white for systemic racism
Also he would have survived if he complied. Didnt need to die but people forget that complying is a pretty reliable way of not dying
I think Chauvin could be held on misconduct but I don’t believe the other officers deserve charges
They were unaware of the situations
They clearly looked very confused
They were bystanders but I wouldn't totally blame them
no one mentions the other black people were treated nicely huh. For a racist cop, the other 2 would be been treated horribly huh
Chauvin definitely deserved to be criticized and held accountable at the very least.
I mean, maybe bystanders shouldn’t just jump to conclusions on everything for political status? There’s an idea
yea the videos only showed the end, when floyd was "innocent" the whole video shows that floyd "wasnt as innocent"
Easily 98% of these “police misconduct” clips, you’re only seeing a small bit of that issue. People don’t research and get context to the situation, they just jump on the virtue signaling express for clout and views
Instead of jumping into action, they should have investigated it more
And release it altogether so it won’t cause mass panic
it was a viral video so it was easy to just report on it.
True
msm deliberately held back body cam footage for over a month
They would get canceled if they mentioned the drugs because it's a racist incident
is it bad if glad that I watched the bodycam because I feel relieved knowing the cops weren't all bad. Still bad but not white supremacist bad
