What did he say that are making people say he lied?
I'd bet that they are trying to claim that he "didn't share enough information with the American people" and that he "downplayed the virus and did nothing to stop it". I don't agree with their claims but if I was playing devil's advocate, that would be the argument I'd try to make even though I don't see how it makes sense.
@Son of Nerds the thing is the Covid lockdowns are entirely biased as well as the strategy in which they expect Trump to meet with high standards. Trump handled it in a manner in which a constitutionalist or republican would have handled the matter. Not in the manner in which a tyrant would have or a democrat. Trump even said explained his strategy again during the debate with Joe Biden. The thing is, they're just trying to make Donald Trump look bad in whatever way possible. If he did lockdown and break the constitution, they would have every reason to impeach Trump. They don't give Trump the credit he deserves nor do they give him enough room to walk without stepping on eggshells. 2020 has only proven Trump is not a tyrant, but the democratic leaders are.
Trump's methodology in handling the covid 19 pandemic is also more logical if you want to talk about science.
Same thing goes with the Governor of South Dakota. She did a great job.

i only wear them in walmart....actually it's the only req now, no longer a sign that says 'no shoes, no shirt, no service'

I started questioning the effectiveness of masks after 2 things:
1. When they released prisoners instead of giving them masks
2. When band members have holes in their masks to play certain instruments
i used to work at a bio lab ...they worked on aids, rabies and ebola ..only the lab techs wore the masks near the open samples
cleaning crew had no masks, staff had no masks
but everybody had rubber gloves

Iv got my own theory with covid and masks
If your sick you are breathing covid particles out into your mask, which will get trapped supposedly inside moisture pockets inside of it, and from there because of the warmth and wet setting they are in, they begin to grow and culture and you are constantly breathing this back in and out, essentially giving yourself a more lethal dose of the virus
This is why you clean that mask daily instead of leaving it to fester. I mean, just to play devil's advocate here.
Of course that'll only work on a cloth mask...the other ones you'd have to either heat up...maybe microwave or oven. Depends on the metal bits and plastic included.

But she's a doctor and pulls up all the data.
But I very certain somewhere she says that in cities where they have mask mandates, coronavirus infection rates are higher.
