Well the WHO has been wrong and made some very biased choices in the last few months prompting less trust in them imo

2020-10-30 17:45:12 UTC

Allocating resources to do so is a waste of time.

2020-10-30 17:45:12 UTC

like have some level of protection and you can take it more of you wish

2020-10-30 17:45:33 UTC

because if some schools decide to do nothing then it's like

2020-10-30 17:45:36 UTC

well thats why theres a different issue for school. They are held to government standards, usually state government, unless they are private schools

2020-10-30 17:45:37 UTC

shiii

2020-10-30 17:45:56 UTC

Well in the end, everyone is going to get covid. Doesn't really matter how long you hold it off, it's just what sicknesses do

2020-10-30 17:45:59 UTC

After the WHO has protected China and constantly backtracked on things we knew were true to begin with, I somehow don't think you should be trusting them.

2020-10-30 17:46:21 UTC

eh i argued this point with the guy behind you

2020-10-30 17:46:30 UTC

Well thats where politics have leeched in to the WHO

2020-10-30 17:46:37 UTC

theres many non-biased people there

2020-10-30 17:46:41 UTC

i said "Not enough evidence except the same organisation that was involved in the "eradication of smallpox, the near-eradication of polio, and the development of an Ebola vaccine" is now suddenly wrong"

2020-10-30 17:47:03 UTC

It's not sudden.

2020-10-30 17:47:13 UTC

And there's a little thing called a shift in power.

2020-10-30 17:47:27 UTC

yes but what do you think is happening then?

2020-10-30 17:47:38 UTC

WHO is taking medical advice from china because?

2020-10-30 17:48:25 UTC

WHO repeated false information from China and praised them even though they covered up the virus for several key days.

2020-10-30 17:48:58 UTC

but medical advise instead of country praising

2020-10-30 17:49:06 UTC

i see how it's sus

2020-10-30 17:49:08 UTC

true

2020-10-30 17:49:11 UTC

yes

2020-10-30 17:49:23 UTC

but i don't see how it makes the world's best scientist's facts invalidated

2020-10-30 17:49:30 UTC

As I said before, they went back on several advice.

2020-10-30 17:49:31 UTC

That's why you can see a discrepancy between the scientists involved in the WHO and the people that are actually in charge of the organization

2020-10-30 17:49:35 UTC

or opinions

2020-10-30 17:50:03 UTC

For example, they finally put a statement on lockdowns after half a year of them.

2020-10-30 17:50:46 UTC

yea i guess this virus isn't something to put on the track record

2020-10-30 17:51:02 UTC

That's the thing, the science is typically all over the place about most issues, and the statements that are made on the scientists behalf is usually influenced until there is an actual consensus

2020-10-30 17:51:10 UTC

They told us not to wear masks then told us to wear them.

2020-10-30 17:51:29 UTC

So they're constantly contradicting themselves.

2020-10-30 17:51:30 UTC

so what are you doing?

2020-10-30 17:51:33 UTC

Kind of like the CDC and fauci

2020-10-30 17:51:58 UTC

That's how science gets politicized. Some take only the information that suites their viewpoint and ignore the rest

2020-10-30 17:52:05 UTC

They could make the excuse that we didn't understand the sickness then, but yeah. The same standard still applies

2020-10-30 17:52:09 UTC

I go outside very little for reasons unrelated to covid.

2020-10-30 17:52:22 UTC

If that's your question.

2020-10-30 17:52:35 UTC

i mean related to the mask situation

2020-10-30 17:52:47 UTC

I live in California, so suffering.

2020-10-30 17:52:54 UTC

lol

2020-10-30 17:52:55 UTC

sad

2020-10-30 17:54:19 UTC

I have a mixed opinion on masks.
