No

2019-07-26 22:13:18 UTC

It's a normal thing because it's what nature selects for

2019-07-26 22:13:18 UTC

@Flame of truth Eros typically comes from envier mental pressures as well as the history of the land/ culture that it is derived from
is not "that's the way it is"

2019-07-26 22:13:24 UTC

I’ll repeat what I’ve heard from each of you

2019-07-26 22:13:26 UTC

Hold on

2019-07-26 22:13:42 UTC

Behavioral selection man. Look it up

2019-07-26 22:14:09 UTC

Theres a good book called "the story of the human body". Taught me damn near everything I know about it

2019-07-26 22:14:11 UTC

Good book

2019-07-26 22:14:21 UTC

never read it 😛

2019-07-26 22:15:08 UTC

It boils down the various stages of our evolution and behaviors from the evidence that was retrieved @Mr.Black

2019-07-26 22:15:14 UTC

I highly recommend it

2019-07-26 22:15:43 UTC

i'll look into it, altho i can say if you understand history you understand most of modern morals

2019-07-26 22:15:48 UTC

just saying

2019-07-26 22:16:14 UTC

What?

2019-07-26 22:16:18 UTC

Lol

2019-07-26 22:16:29 UTC

I don't think there is much understanding modern morals haha

2019-07-26 22:16:41 UTC

It's practically non-existent

2019-07-26 22:17:04 UTC

there is, its a gradual lack of morals that has been degrading since ohh the late 1800s imo

2019-07-26 22:17:20 UTC

Yeah, it is what it is though I guess

2019-07-26 22:17:25 UTC

Just gotta deal with it

2019-07-26 22:17:34 UTC

@Mr.Black one said it comes from cultures , pressures from the environment, brain waves,

2019-07-26 22:17:50 UTC

What's up guys. It's your local tradcon. How are you all doing?

2019-07-26 22:17:52 UTC

brain waves?

2019-07-26 22:17:54 UTC

wut

2019-07-26 22:17:57 UTC

@poizon sup boyo

2019-07-26 22:18:00 UTC

@ManOWar basically said it’s your brain forcing you to achieve states of morality due to evolution and adapting

2019-07-26 22:18:13 UTC

that is a part of it

2019-07-26 22:18:18 UTC

Yeah that sums it up pretty much

2019-07-26 22:18:22 UTC

not all of it, but a driving factor

2019-07-26 22:18:30 UTC

Although it's not just one brain but you get that

2019-07-26 22:18:40 UTC

I wrote more but my clipboard got replaced smh

2019-07-26 22:18:48 UTC

rip

2019-07-26 22:18:52 UTC

I was talking about the many thousands of generations and stuff

2019-07-26 22:18:57 UTC

I don’t want to write again lol

2019-07-26 22:18:59 UTC

Not just a singular brain

2019-07-26 22:19:12 UTC

I only call myself a tradcon because I'm at that weird in between phase where I understand the system is stacked against me, but the biological and spiritual desire for a partner makes me a romantic

2019-07-26 22:20:44 UTC

@Flame of truth Eros you're free to think differently about it.

2019-07-26 22:22:21 UTC

the point that i was getting at, is that there are some morals that are universal (or close to it) because we are a tribalism species for example, we don't typically murder people left and right because they cut you off in a conversation BUT even crimes that are "abhorrent" in modern settings such as rape are fine in other societies (because the belief that the stronger man would defend his women and a lack to do so makes her yours) now of course there are exceptions to the rules when you factor in mental disorders and genetic defects

2019-07-26 22:22:37 UTC

The main thing though, to summarize my paragraphs of writing was, morality, laws, come from either those in power, or a belief of a diety or a man whose beliefs you hold in deep respect

2019-07-26 22:22:50 UTC

but morals do change depending on time, place, location, history, and yes even religious influences

2019-07-26 22:23:02 UTC

@Mr.Black that’s my point , so you agree with me then?
