Avoid slush
My traction control was kicking in when I was accelerating anything more than gentle from a stop, so I bit the bullet and got em done that afternoon. We had snow coming down for a couple weeks right after that so I really didnt want to risk shopping around and losing these two i found
two winter tires i mean
Yeah its always worth it to just get em on
As many as you can at least lol
man i remember one of the winters here the roads were nothing but ice rinks
I got myself a set of rims from a wrecker and pit my winters on em so I dont have to pay for the switch
literally skating with your car
Any kind of acceleration is a slip probably lol
I planned on doing that but also consider the likelihood that this van dies this winter anyways
Don't drive rear wheel drive in the winter if you can avoid it
my current vehicle is all wheel drive, thank god
Or at the very least dies before next winter. I'll burn up these tires next summer just because of my lack of confidence it'll last another year
I'm looking into an awd ford taurus next
And is good. They are a little more on gas tho since its always on
Awd
cheap parts, reliable everything, and plenty of police bull bars as cheap deer catchers
Gotta watch for them dummies lol
They will literally wait until you get to them and then bounce right infront of your car
And never say YOU hit the deer
Oh absolutely
Its like they assume you ran the deer down if you say you hit it
For all the city driving I was talking about with mike before, I spend a lot of time driving country roads and woods roads come hunting season and ice fishing, know exactly what you mean
Ah thats a good man. Keep the spirit alive with some wild adventure
Been meaning to look into whether my insurance has an animal addition to the policy, but my current wheels aren't evem worth full coverage lol
Lol it is if its brand spanking new maybe
As long as your obeying the road law you should be fine
Or even if I got a newer taurus like I'm looking at. Ballpark 7k I'm looking at spending so Full coverage, hail, and animal hit protection(if they have it) are what I'm looking at
And uninsured motorist coverage. As politically and racially charged as it may sound, there are a lot of uninsured/unlicensed Somali drivers I've heard horror stories about in MN
Yeah bro in a country of 333 million there are gonna be people like that
We have a very large number of Somalis here because of the Lutheran churches I believe. Coming in as refugees with the church's assistance though the process
People gotta realize they ARE from another country and might just not understand ooooor where they come from its easy to get away with so they do it there or wherever you live
And it's dirt easy to do, just buy a cheap car for cash, and drive it till you hit something. Either drive away or abandon the car and run away if you can't
Like there were no Mexicans where I live. Now there is and they love chatting up women and cat calling and from what I see the girls like it lol
They love women lol
Lol I watched a dude fly off the road and roll 3 times so we got out to go help and the guy just crawled out and ran
He was gone in 5 seconds flat
My old man is a tow truck dispatcher, so that's not an uncommon story to him
It looked like a cat was in a box and it fell off a shelf and it just booked it lol
Someone hits a car, stoplight, street sign, you name it. Bystander just say, "Yeah, he/she just got out, grabbed their bag/kid/whatever from the backseat and started walking that way"
