to who ever never drove a day in their life, from those that actually driven in their life ...the listed speed limit, is only a suggestion...cops don't even chase u til u get a respectable speed over the official 'limit'

I heard you can go up to 10 miles over before they chase you for a ticket

I would sometimes go 9 over the limit to clear out the exhaust because the engine is happy at higher RPMs.
