They are insane but i do still believe in fairness for all) and ended up in a 3 day 6 page discussion with someone I work with that was having a total meltdown over what I said. Gave up in the end cause they just would not see reason, logic or believe in any statistics. Which was really upsetting for me cause they are a scientist!
@Ravensburg Yes, I believe in fairness too, I believe black lives matter too, but I don't believe that the usage of force and protests is going to help the movement. On the contrary, actually. If it truly were about black lives, they would've discussed with both sides in order to reach to a middle ground consensus, but it seems that they really only want power and the overthrowing of the old system. And the fact that they are a scientist, yet chose not to believe in your statistics or to criticially analyze your argument is pathetic.
