Happened in my city. Posted a message on FB later supporting equality/BLM (My views are now quite different after learning more about the movement. They are insane but i do still believe in fairness for all) and ended up in a 3 day 6 page discussion with someone I work with that was having a total meltdown over what I said. Gave up in the end cause they just would not see reason, logic or believe in any statistics. Which was really upsetting for me cause they are a scientist!

Am a scientist too and if i said that in my job I would probably loose my professional registration. I think it was the attack on rationalism that got to me 5 months later. Do not know if the responses are leftist or blm meltdowns. I have since talked with other people who I work with on the points I made and they believe all the points are valid due to being true, accurate and statistically supported.
