Most insurance I think will cover therapy, it's more a question of finding a therapist that takes your insurance

2020-07-13 17:12:43 UTC

agreed

2020-07-13 17:12:45 UTC

idk man. i agree, but ive also been seeing some really good talk about why it should be accessible to all in America.

2020-07-13 17:12:58 UTC

im on the fence about that discussio now.

2020-07-13 17:13:02 UTC

mental health is extremely important

2020-07-13 17:13:07 UTC

oh yeah...

2020-07-13 17:13:25 UTC

I have crap insurance currently, and it doesn't cover some of my medication. That medication, without insurance, is $400 a month

2020-07-13 17:13:45 UTC

what about meds that isn't like name brand?

2020-07-13 17:13:48 UTC

what is that called

2020-07-13 17:13:54 UTC

Generic? That IS the generic

2020-07-13 17:13:59 UTC

generic thats it

2020-07-13 17:14:06 UTC

Damn luckily mines only 40$ I feel for people that can't get medication

2020-07-13 17:14:08 UTC

ooh geez

2020-07-13 17:14:10 UTC

My biggest problem with government funded Healthcare is, I've dealt with the VA, you don't want government provided Healthcare. Also, I don't feel like I should pay for your medical bills. Sorry..

2020-07-13 17:14:39 UTC

I had a therapist when I became a depressed self-hating nihilist around 2 years ago

2020-07-13 17:14:51 UTC

I got out of it by going to church more often

2020-07-13 17:14:59 UTC

I think if there is some kind of government option, if should be temporary in most cases

2020-07-13 17:15:13 UTC

Like unemployment

2020-07-13 17:15:22 UTC

The VA just has the reputation of being really bad

2020-07-13 17:15:25 UTC

@Space Doggo yeah, i completely agree. those are VERY important points you bring up.

2020-07-13 17:15:32 UTC

We don't want to be like Canada were you have to wait 6 months to be seen

2020-07-13 17:15:36 UTC

Government run industry is almost always bad

2020-07-13 17:16:01 UTC

Private sector > the government

2020-07-13 17:16:26 UTC

My thing is, I don't mind there being things like welfare or unemployment, but they need to be used far less often. Right now they're getting abused.

2020-07-13 17:16:37 UTC

heres a link to VA and how ineffective they are

2020-07-13 17:17:07 UTC

Back in the day it was a last resort to get welfare now people are making career out of it

2020-07-13 17:17:10 UTC

The problem is, people abuse the system. And, politicians run on giving more of it to people basically bribing votes.

2020-07-13 17:17:50 UTC

Imagine the people that have 7 kids from different dad's what they get a month

2020-07-13 17:18:31 UTC

They literally get paid to be welfare. It is an incentive to get knocked up.

2020-07-13 17:18:39 UTC

ima get off for a few

2020-07-13 17:18:43 UTC

My sister works in a grocery store and the people that are on welfare eat better than us working class

2020-07-13 17:18:43 UTC

be right back

2020-07-13 17:19:40 UTC

2020-07-13 17:19:44 UTC

2020-07-13 17:19:45 UTC

2020-07-13 17:19:51 UTC

2020-07-13 17:19:56 UTC

It pisses me off

2020-07-13 17:20:03 UTC

2020-07-13 17:20:15 UTC

2020-07-13 17:20:19 UTC
