Yep. My personal library is the second biggest room of my house.

2020-07-28 04:45:27 UTC

It took me a couple of months to move my books; I'm still finding some tucked away.

2020-07-28 04:45:57 UTC

I got a kindle. Said Id NEVER use one. I like the feel of books too much. But I love my kindle now

2020-07-28 04:46:37 UTC

I was tempted, but I stopped counting books when I passed 8k during the move.

2020-07-28 04:46:57 UTC

Plus I have Nat Geos from 1929 until now.

2020-07-28 04:47:09 UTC

One plus about the kindle. 1500 books. A few ounces.

2020-07-28 04:47:19 UTC

facts

2020-07-28 04:47:34 UTC

how long it take u to read 8k+ books?

2020-07-28 04:47:59 UTC

I re-read my entire library about once every ten years. Takes about a year.

2020-07-28 04:48:07 UTC

epic

2020-07-28 04:48:33 UTC

lol what u do for a living? jus curious are you a writer, or scholar of some sort? is that why you read so much

2020-07-28 04:48:41 UTC

I read extremely fast. When my family goes out of town, I take a novel to read the hour trip and one to read back.

2020-07-28 04:49:09 UTC

I'm a writer off and on, but I've read like this since I was four.

2020-07-28 04:49:36 UTC

ah gotchu nice

2020-07-28 04:49:50 UTC

The dictionary was my favorite book as a kid

2020-07-28 04:50:13 UTC

Second book I read. My parents loved to spell things in front of us.

2020-07-28 04:50:24 UTC

lol

2020-07-28 04:50:51 UTC

Mine had pictures so it was pretty cool. I still have it.

2020-07-28 04:51:46 UTC

I hit Kindergarten at 4, a week later I was reading with the second-graders.

2020-07-28 04:53:38 UTC

I was told my poems were too long

2020-07-28 04:53:58 UTC

Shouldn’t a teacher be happy about that?

2020-07-28 04:54:07 UTC

They told Homer that too 🤔

2020-07-28 04:54:56 UTC

To clarify, I do not mean Simpson

2020-07-28 04:55:24 UTC

What other Homer? 😂

2020-07-28 04:56:09 UTC

Odyssey? Old poem? Loooong

2020-07-28 04:56:32 UTC

Oh yeah I’m dumb 😆

2020-07-28 04:58:35 UTC

I like ozymandias

2020-07-28 04:59:06 UTC

"Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair."

2020-07-28 05:00:00 UTC

My favorite has always been Rime of the Ancient Mariner for poems

2020-07-28 05:02:26 UTC

I tend to quote the Flying Dutchman. "It matters not how strait th' gate, nor charged with punishments is th' scroll, I am master of mine own fate, I am captain of mine own soul."

2020-07-28 05:06:47 UTC

Mixed that one up. Invictus.

2020-07-28 06:55:41 UTC

Lmao gen 1 is funny

2020-07-28 06:57:31 UTC

2020-07-28 07:01:27 UTC

Frell. Now I want tea, and my stove is covered in junk.

2020-07-28 13:07:57 UTC

Go to google translate. Choose no language options. Enter the word “demon”. What is the first definition you get?

2020-07-28 13:58:29 UTC

@englanddg This is a f'in disgrace.. True evil is Google, having NO thought about steeling all our personal informatiom, and tracking us everywhere we go. I use Tor and DuckDuckGo, but I have NO thought that Google or Facebook isn't invading my privacy. Alos Google giving Billions of dollars to India, while saying they support the people that give them their revenue here.

2020-07-28 16:28:03 UTC
