Yeap. And got us into ww2.
Tbf ww2 is what propelled the US out of the depression
Since fdr couldn't fix it
Typical dem...
Don’t think that was the original plan
He hated Hitler and wanted to help Churchill
Meh. Could be true. Probably isn't tho
wdym
He literally signed the Destroyers For Bases Deal with the UK
In like mid 1940
FDR was definitely not pro fascist nor pro commie
He was the one that started the snowball effect of govt dependency but his plan to get into ww2 to get the US out of the Depression is a stretch
He was big government but not like the dems of today. Not to mention, media was also a lot more respectful back then
They actually didn’t take pictures of him in his wheelchair for years
Pentagon was also built per FDR admin. The US is better off in general because of FDR. People who took advantage of the programs that spawned out his admin are the real problem
Like socialism security?

Programs that last that long don’t ever keep their intended purpose
Definitely was abused way before today
It only became a large issue in the past 30-40
since late 80s early 90s
Once you give the Government that power/control and money for it, they won't ever give it up
The program was a good kickstarter when the Depression was in full swing
It worked. It is an outdated program now
Which ended like 4 years later. Lol
No, the US wasn’t out until after WW2
It still had economic problems after WW2
Nah. You're tripping. Lol.
It’s the one time period I study the most
The Depression didn’t just disappear Dec 7 1941
We had to put women in the workforce because it was needed. You can't tell me that thats a bad economy
It takes years to recover from 20% unemployment
I didn’t say bad
Depression = bad
I said it had problems, the economy as a whole wasn’t reset
All economies have problems
I guess I'm done. I dont like arguing semantics..
