Hence my sadly may not be fixed

Heres a question anyone seen the tv show the 100? Is it just me or are main cast democrats? Every where, every time, every planet... they follow their emotions, ends justify the means and they end up wiping out humanity lol

2020-10-26 01:47:01 UTC

Wow that's creepy. Just how accurate that is.

2020-10-26 02:02:56 UTC

is the square root of 3 = plus or minus three?

2020-10-26 02:07:14 UTC

.warnclear @THINBLUELINEUSA 1

@ClaudeBlanche You can't square root negative numbers ( with the exception of imaginary numbers in which you can only square root -1 )

That's for complex numbers where you get into multi-demintional mathematics.

2020-10-26 02:10:08 UTC

Im not quite that smart. 😆

2020-10-26 02:10:25 UTC

is square root of +3 = +/-3?

2020-10-26 02:10:59 UTC

Me either lol! My math experience ends with Trigonometry. The only reason I go that far is because I do a lot of amateur astronomy and I need to utilize data models for star charts

2020-10-26 02:11:17 UTC

cause teacher: square root of +3 = +/-3

2020-10-26 02:11:35 UTC

That doesn't look like a square root at all.

2020-10-26 02:11:43 UTC

lol

2020-10-26 02:11:52 UTC

Yeah that is what I was thinking....

2020-10-26 02:12:08 UTC

A square root is a number that you have to duplicate to equal a number...

2020-10-26 02:12:19 UTC

lol, my teacher didnt even notice that after she moved onto the next topic

2020-10-26 02:12:31 UTC

in multiples... like 3x3=9 . So the square root of 9 is 3

2020-10-26 02:12:56 UTC

the square root of 3 is some irrational number in which duplicated and multiplied = 3

2020-10-26 02:13:05 UTC

mm

2020-10-26 02:13:49 UTC

The positive square root of negative three is the only possible interpretation of that statement. And that doesn't make sense...

2020-10-26 02:14:01 UTC

@ClaudeBlanche The square root of 3 is 1.73205081

2020-10-26 02:14:12 UTC

2020-10-26 02:14:15 UTC

If you multiply that number by itself it will be 3

2020-10-26 02:14:33 UTC

well pretty damn close at least. It's an irrational number

2020-10-26 02:14:51 UTC

my teacher moved to the graph which showed 1.732 and she still didnt notice lol

2020-10-26 02:15:18 UTC

I'm just a stat and probability guy.

2020-10-26 02:15:37 UTC

oooooo

2020-10-26 02:15:44 UTC

im taking stat next year

2020-10-26 02:15:52 UTC

It is not fun.

2020-10-26 02:16:04 UTC

stats are something not to be taken seriously Claude.

2020-10-26 02:16:11 UTC

It is not hard.

2020-10-26 02:16:18 UTC

haha, but i think i have more use for it than calculus

2020-10-26 02:16:30 UTC

2+2=5

2020-10-26 02:16:48 UTC

Depending on your career you would be right.

2020-10-26 02:16:48 UTC

Calculus is awesome. The math used to calculate rates of change at the smallest scales imaginable

2020-10-26 02:16:51 UTC

That is Calculus

2020-10-26 02:17:11 UTC

It's what led us to this crazy era we live in today.

2020-10-26 02:17:19 UTC

Yep
