i get how that works but that is kinda creepy

Depends on the cause

Like if you're on a ship that's in the Bermuda Triangle, going over the international date line, and the ship gets struck by lightning at the exact second, and it causes a loop, then to end it you just have to keep the ship from getting struck by lightning

Imagine living the same day over and over for 87 years straight

how does that usually go

In time travel it's called a recursive loop, and means you did something to cause a naturally unresolvable paradox.

You have to figure out what you did to set it straight, or loop forever.

I tried that 86 years ago

I've been writing hard time travel stories for decades.

A beautiful thing happened tonight

what would that be

I went trick-or-treating in my neighbothood (working class/lower middle income area), and took a pillowcase for collecting candy

Walked an hour and came back wit half a pillowcase of candy

Went to a downtown neighborhood and came back with nothing

Was there for roughly an hour too

My neighborhood doesn't allow political signs, but the other neighborhood I went to was littered with Biden-Harris signs

All of the house lights were off in the Biden hood

Most of the lights were on in my hood

I should note the neighborhood I drove to is largely higher educated retirees/teachers
