@FerretFondue there are many differences now, I’m not advocating for it cause I don’t like it, but it’s possible because now we can communicate the and travel MUCH faster. Also if America unites or took over South America and Europe and Africa no one would be able to stand up to us like they did the Romans so they would follow suit

@dbel the problem is you cant logistically govern that huge of an area from one place, youd have to have smaller governments and then riots, revolution is basically guaranteed. ppl want to rule themselves

@FerretFondue here I would tend to agree with that, but in other countries and large parts of Europe I know that isn’t true. There may be a revolt eventually but that government would last for a while (I believe God would come and the world would be ended then too). That said if there was a globally unified government it would likely look like the EU but expanded over the whole planet

@dbel the EU won't last another 10 years, many countries are considering pulling out like Britain and Europe has a long history of revolutions. I just don't see it happening...

The EU will indeed last another 10 years. As socialism increases the world will be more unified in it. This happened with the communist countries too. Now, those did fall but under a global world order this would be much more difficult and the oppression would be much more disguised
