The big G.I. Joes did, but not regular-sized ones.'

2020-11-10 03:44:12 UTC

I had Hot Wheels cars. Made tons of dirt roads and such...

2020-11-10 03:44:31 UTC

I have seen a Nazi paraphernalia GI Joe toy

2020-11-10 03:44:46 UTC

They made Nazi Joes, back in the day.

2020-11-10 03:45:10 UTC

Joes were the good guys, Russians and Nazis were bad, back in the 60's.

2020-11-10 03:45:58 UTC

I have starwars action figures from I think 83 I don't get them out much

2020-11-10 03:46:25 UTC

I have Star Wars figures from the beginning, and a ton of the 80's Joes.

2020-11-10 03:46:37 UTC

...Plus spares for parts, for customs.

2020-11-10 03:47:23 UTC

And *that* is how you kill chat. LOL

2020-11-10 03:47:30 UTC

Lol

2020-11-10 03:48:26 UTC

What about light sabers...u can't be a sw nerd without one. 🤔

2020-11-10 03:49:32 UTC

...I have one propped next to my desk.

2020-11-10 03:49:58 UTC

What do u guys think about the master replicas vs the hasbro.

2020-11-10 03:50:36 UTC

I'm not really up on the kinds out there. I got this one years ago, at a sale.

2020-11-10 03:50:55 UTC

I know Hasbro has been getting squirrely of late.

2020-11-10 03:51:33 UTC

I think so to...they cut corners on the materials.

2020-11-10 03:52:12 UTC

Yep. And they're trying to force people into collecting six-inch stuff, but not making any extras for it.

2020-11-10 03:52:34 UTC

The lightsabers?

2020-11-10 03:52:43 UTC

Figures and vehicles.

2020-11-10 03:53:53 UTC

Oh, maybe some comicon stuff, but the store bought stuff everyone has.

2020-11-10 03:54:41 UTC

I mean the regular store stuff. They're trying to phase out the 1:18th scale SW figures and such for 1:12th scale.

2020-11-10 03:55:44 UTC

They also released a new line of "high-end" Joe stuff in 1:12th, but only a handful of "retro" figures and vehicles in 1:18th.

2020-11-10 03:56:29 UTC

I'm not collecting anymore, but the entire reason I started customizing 1:18th scale stuff is because it was all there was. And it all works together.

2020-11-10 03:58:32 UTC

Yeah. I don't know alot about the figurines. Just lightsabers. The kind that has the sounds and metal hilt.

2020-11-10 03:58:51 UTC

Mine has sounds, but a plastic hilt.

2020-11-10 03:59:16 UTC

It worked, but the batteries went dead. Replaced them, now nothing.

2020-11-10 03:59:54 UTC

Hasbro 2010.

2020-11-10 04:00:09 UTC

Don't leave batteries inside. They leak, and people who collect them don't like it.

2020-11-10 04:00:35 UTC

I used it off and on.

2020-11-10 04:00:37 UTC

It's probably a corroded contact

2020-11-10 04:00:56 UTC

Nope. They're clear.

2020-11-10 04:01:49 UTC

Oof...bad connection. U probably have to solder something inside.

2020-11-10 04:02:19 UTC

Likely. It may have gotten jarred too hard in the move.

2020-11-10 04:03:48 UTC

Any suggestions of a good collectible brand too look at for sw light sabers?

2020-11-10 04:04:10 UTC

Not really? I don't collect them myself.

2020-11-10 04:05:33 UTC

Oh. More towards figurines huh.

2020-11-10 04:06:01 UTC

I just do customs. I don't even collect those anymore.

2020-11-10 04:06:28 UTC

Really? Like paint and sculpt. Cool

2020-11-10 04:06:59 UTC

Yep.

2020-11-10 04:07:44 UTC

Of course restorations too.

2020-11-10 04:07:48 UTC

An older one I did.
