and if we truly cared about the environment, we would focus on producing it in house, where we can hold the industry to account for both environmental impact and workers rights
moreover, the clear message from our left leaning politicians has been that they intend to restrict oil production until it dies, with no want to start it back up.

you cant just shut off oil production, at least not the way we do it
the processing equipment would seize, and the wells would collapse.
if they were true environmentalists they would fight for nuclear plants, but they wont even consider it.

We had a protest today in my town. Cops everywhere. Only a dozen or so. The cops here arent messing around. They protested a political cartoon published in the Missourian.
After seeing the footage, the officer even tied tazing him before using an actual round
