so Flynn's lawyers wrote up a response to the Amicus brief. not sure what he's paying them but it should be much more.

I haven't heard a peep of news about this _on the take_ Judge Sullivan and what's been done about it.

DOJ filed motion to dismiss, court says that they want an amicus brief to act as prosecutor, it's up in appeals when the amicus is released, and Flynn's lawyers just responded

There is nothing to prosecute.

The case doesn't exist anymore.

A Judge isn't suppose to have that power.

not publicly, the court of appeals to my understanding hasn't made their decision

The US Supreme Court even ruled into law against this very thing not even a month ago!

You can't appeal something that isn't there.

basically they had Flynn swear under oath he can't rescind his guilty plea or be tried for perjury

There's umm this thing called evidence

so they're trying to cling onto the lying to the FBI

they won't accept anything new into the case's records

or in this case, lack there of. Boy I guess that means I can go plead guilty to something with no evidence of any kind and I go to jail

@Tel Locus I would think that would favor Flynn, being ya know, no evidence.

basically, overall it's becoming more and more obvious that this is entierly a political persecution

but yeah reading the notes and messages and all the stuff. It looks like there needs to be some restructuring around this. Unfortunately judges can't be persecuted for being political there was an entire impeachment over it

then again I don't know if impeachments count into precedence

Judges should be able to be impeached FOR being political. It's the whole reason why they're Judges and their terms are for life.
