Raptors are even better, though. Bears and wolves are alright, but I think wolves would be more of a threat than bears.

They hunt in packs and are quite smart.

I went for a walk once in a swamp in GA. I had a small dog with me. A damn armadillo came charging my dog, til it saw me.

Have fun with armadillos. I shot one twice with my .45 and he just ran off. My buddy engaged his mate with a 12 gauge slug and it also just ran off.
