That can depend on your state law.
Lmao!
And whether or not it was for.your family
I’m in Missouri
And if its "under the table" work
Nah
Or taxed
It’s actually not under the table, it’s a firework stand which I found out there are lots of heavy af fireworks
I would recommend reading your state's laws on underage workers. They're separate from the normal laws.
I do yard work for 4 to 6 hours depending on the day every couple of weeks...
I don't see why it isn't legal
Yeha well I’m not self employed
Neither am I lol
I just work for an older couple in the neighborhood.
I am an employer.
It's only 6 hours, but with a 15 min break. Many places only give a half hour break during 8 hour day for everyone regardless of age. As for age, it depends on work permits for 15 yo. In my state you can work at 16, or 15 with work permit.
Well the contract says I get a a 30 min break for a 6 hour shift 60 for a 9 hour and 90 for anything more than 12 hours
So idk what to do
lmao ^
Plus I’m paid 5 dollars an hour
Wtft
Cuz it’s technically a training period
Which I think is illegal
But idk
That's normal for training pay.
Ik but for 21 days
My sisters both told me that training is the first week
Welcome, <@!154367280363470849>.
That's fairly normal as well.
It weeds out those that dont wanna commit to the position.
Yeah ig
But it's usually no more than 2 weeks.
But I also don’t like that I’m scheduled on a DAY TO DAY Basis
Normal as well for underqualified labor.
It’s shady ngl and I get a big check after the whole season
It’s literally gay
You can always quit, lol.
Even if corona wasn’t in play they’d still give you a big check at the end
I don’t want to bc then I can’t make money until the 19th of July
If you make a stink with the BBB about 15 min worth of a break, you'll just get fired anyways.
Yeah ig
