@[TDE] Smokie This is better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_q1Ryvz2sjE
I made the video itself in haste. Like I said, I was planning on doing still shots but I forgot my remote shutter 😐
It's cloudy AF tonight. I'll have to wait till next week some time for better results

@IncompetentGeneral I feel that Democrat " never let a disaster go to waste " policy cropping up like the dark side of the force when watching that vid you posted 🤣
I gotta admit, I'm tempted lol

gn guys
stay cool
Bet it looks amazing in person vs video @kyzercube
Oh dude, the video does it no justice
Seriously, the actual view through the eyepiece without the camera looks just like the stacked image
I'm just a horrible camera guy lol

@kyzercube do you have a light meter
On top of that, I forgot to replace my 15mm eyepiece ( which is what I used ) with my 5mm eyepiece resulting in a 3x drop in optical zoom. I had to use digital zoom to compensate which greatly degraded the image.
@Diabeł Boruta As in Bortle scale? No, but I have good light conditions, especially for Jupiter. You can be in a city and record this with minimal light issues
I recorded this in a park with low light pollution
Like I said, I just tanked the camera skills 😛

15mm / 1000mm focal length using a 200mm primary mirror = 66.67x magnification vs a 5mm which = 200x magnification... yeah I screwed that one up pretty bad
No I mean a light meter for photography they help with exposure rates and what lighting that you want when your filming
I'm not sure what that is. Keep in mind I wasn't using any " attached " lens. I had to use manual focus and the camera was attached to a telescope
As in the camera body only was being used and t-adapter clamped to the telescope
Over exposed
Use the <#721886072702763059> room. Im sure others will love to see this stuff
@Diabeł Boruta I have to use manual exposure for astro-photography.
It's not like normal photography where " aesthetics " is what you're after. With astrophotography, you're after data.
Film or digital
Digital ofc. I used a Canon T6i

Try to post this in the photography room
