@BigSimp17 yeahhhhh my ex was the same.. he kept shutting me down when i would try to get his take on things and just discuss political ideas or things- he claims to be republican but he thinks Biden is better than Trump and refuses to see the good things trump and his administration has done- not to mention how horribly toxic he was as a person- but that's besides the point... honestly if you get to the point you feel like you're being shut down, like they brush you off with little things and don't listen then it's time to let them go. Dont be like me and try to keep a friendship/ relationship for 2 years with someone or people who can't get over themselves.
