obama sold out our military, bailed out and gave billions to his friends and our enemies. Helped hike the cost of drugs ,healthcare and insurance to the highest in the world. funded and gave guns to the mexican cartel. that is just the tip.
Well, nothing effective got done in 8 years of his presidency. He promised "Change", which was literally his campaign slogan for his first term. Things may have changed, but for the worse. Race relations got worse during his presidency, he was divisive with the policies he pushed. I think the one thing he promised that was actually completed was Obamacare, which was a complete flop. People were promised that their individual insurance rates wouldn't go up, yet they did. Most of his executive orders, such as DACA and the individual mandate for health insurance were extremely unconstitutional.
Didn't he also give Ukraine blankets or something?
dirty dirty deep state
both sides
I would generally say that government run industry is almost always a bad thing
^^^
Obamacare was insanely expensive and just taxed the shit ton out of people iirc
I am more of a libertarian minded conservative so that is just my take
Obamacare was a massive power grab. 1000 pages of bureacrat-ese. It made all student loans belong to the government. Scary stuff.
Obamacare was one extremely ineffective and it ended up costing more to everyday people who didn't want it. Health insurance rates skyrocketed, because everybody was required to have health insurance or be taxed out their ass at the end of the year/beginning of the next year.
How is it with healthcare in America now?
my insurance cost $$87/mo for a family of 4 befor meds fors about $10 and dr visit were about $20, after obamam care it was $750/mo $30-150 for meds dr visit are $60 after my new $6000 deductible.
Still awful, because they haven't fixed anything.
It basically penalized people for not being insured
You guys think Trump will do something about healthcare?
And just using reason here, government healthcare will always be inferior to the private sector no matter what because the state itself has no competition and therefore no incentive to produce quality
If it's even in his hands
I think they need to remove a lot of restrictions on healthcare and let companies reach across state borders. More competition means cheaper insurance.
More competition and privatization will do the trick
Isnt free healthcare just very expensive
The government should just stop sticking their nose into the healthcare industry and let the free market just work
My mom got breast cancer just after obama care, her insurance was cancelled, no one would insure her we paid out of pocket for 7 years till she was cured. I spent at least $400,000 out of pocket
There was also a violation of our first amendment, making religious groups pay for abortions and contraceptive (plan b) that they don't approve of
she still can not get insurance not even obama care
I found dr that will work for cash.
How's your mom now?
she is great
Ah nice
Honesty if you apply libertarian thinking to the pro-life argument you can argue that murdering an unborn child is a violation of the NAP, and is therefore immoral. So yeah, pro-life libertarianism can be argued for.
but me and my brothers sold our homes, cars every thing.
building a new home now, but it was hard AF
Kind of sad that a lot of libertarians ignore this argument tho and some even support abortions
the only time I agree with abortion is when the girl is raped and if she's underage
^^ generally agree
@JJ04 that represents <1% of abietions
Hm
I was Dem before obama care
Yeah that is very rare to even happen
